My Face...

"I urge you not to throw away time, for it's as swift as an arrow, fast as a stream. Distraction is entirely due to a lack of concentration; stupidity and blindness are caused by a lack of true knowledge."
- Yung-Ming

"I have NEVER put on a friggin' sweat like that..."

Friggin' Coach Ilg rocked us in NoHo the other week! OMG! What a sweat and chifest that was @ Warrior Blanchard's studio in NoHo. Of all the so-called "Hot Yoga" classes I have attended, I have NEVER put out such a friggin' sweat and all without a gas heater--just Coach Ilg! Shiiitttt...who needs a furnace when you have HP Yoga to light the fire within?! A great class--all sorts of people there and shapes, sizes, abilities. I'm always amazed at how well Ilg adapts to the tribe--he seems to know what people need on the spot without a cue card.

Feeble Coach RJ went to failure more than once in this class. I was rockin' at the Coachella Music Festival the day before. Dudes! From Coachella's 102 degrees in the Cali desert to HP Yoga's sweatfest in NoHo! I was dehydrated big time! If you ever get a chance to study with Coach Ilg in NoHo or anywhere else he lands to do HP Yoga--DO IT! There is no substitute--I'm convinced of that.

hola mi hermano's y hermana's de la espiritu!

i am back beneath the Sacred Peak of Doko Ooosliid here in Kinlani. a wonderful, wonderful trip to the Rio Grande Valley whereupon i often come back speaking Spanglish. though i got completely wired on the chi of my trip, i am even more wired to be wireless and back on the luxurious high speed internet connection so i can regain our DL Dance together!

i'll be right back with much more including how i got spanked in my second bicycle race with only a few more heartbeats to go!

oh, and i wanna send out a big ol' Temple Shout to all of you precious students, friends, and DL'ers that have been taking part of our online baby shower! each day the UPS guy pulls up and Lordy, Lordy!!! you are all sooo kind and may you have even an inkling of just how absolutely needed and appreciated your generous baby gifts are to Ananda and i! WOW!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!

finally, i know many (okay MOST) of you think that i am gonna be all too hard core training on my baby daughter. remember, i AM a professional who has helped dozens of 'infertile' women (and men) get pregnant and have coached many women through pregnancies with utmost loving care. so, relax...besides,

i'm practicing on Teddy!

having worked in three great bookstores and well, being an author and all, i have known about and have been perusing the 'new best baby books' on the market.

no.

i'll stick with the Scriptures.

it don't get any better than the Ancient Wisdom that produced the most Awakened Masters on the planet:

"All beings tremble before violence.
All fear death.
All love life.

See yourself in others.
Then whom can you hurt?
What harm can you do?"

- Dhammapada 129-130

if you have not already done so, please visit Ananda's most recent entry:

On The Road Again; Racing Bikes Up Big Mountains In New Mexico

Getting a toe up against my competitors...I love New Mexico! My leg seems to press into Father Sky as i breathe into Eka Pada Setu Bandhasarvangasana during my pre-Race Day yoga session. oh, and yes, it took me the last 12 years of DEDICATED work to get even this measley toe spread. My "Opening The Vents" workout - available in our Pay Per PDF section of the WF Pro Shop - will help ANYONE get a better, more healthy foot and thus body. Remember, brittle toes/feet = brittle, dysfunctional organs which in turn equate to a pantheon of dis-eases and poor energy.

THIS DL WAS WRITTEN FROM RIO RANCHO, NEW MEXICO ON SATURDAY, JUNE 1st.
(Due To A Lack Of Internet Connection, I finally got it posted just now.)

On The Road Again…

Left last evening. Doko Oooslid…her oozingly familiar, svelte silhouette slides westward and falls prey to another brilliant Evening Bardo of Flagstaff twilight as I point “Camy” our gas-stingy pony east...
