A Way To Worship Workouts...

"A Way (not The Way)...
to worship workouts,
that vehicle of all glorious and truth quality,
is to sweat freely at least once every other day
and
then Sit Still
in Noble Silence,
far removed from all care and worry
at least once every day.
doing so cultivates adoration in every aspect of fitness and keeps the ego humbled regardless of time spent using the body vehicle.

finally, and listen closely:

Attach to no fad, no new device, no new nothing;
just explore deeply thy physiology
in each one of her awesome capacities and abide in that awe. If you do this you MIGHT, just MIGHT, help your chi-ld retain their beautiful sense of awe just that much longer which might make all the difference in the(ir) world."

- ilg puts the hammer down during a club ride right in front of the famed, Rock Store, in the Santa Monica Mountains on the same course that the Tour of California did this year...just not as friggin' fast as those guys! i think this photo was by wayne williams, however, i'm not positive.
