News Flash! - it's a Christ-Mass Miracle!

Sacred Peak, Elevation 11,500 - reporter; coach ilg

tonight, just now...i have returned from a starlit ski up and down Agassiz Peak...in what only could be explained as an OBVIOUS CHRISTMAS MIRACLE i have the following to share with all of you on this most special nights of nights:

1) i set a new personal ski-up record tonight, covering the ski runs from 9,500' to 11,500' in 50 minutes! average heart rate; 173

2) at the summit, in the utter starlit silence at the very top of Arizona, after performing puja and a quick Pranayama Appetizer before my rocket ball descent in pure darkness (i went so fast up the Peak, that Grandmother Moon did not peek over the ridgetop!) i heard the distinct click-clankering of what only could be an airborne sleigh moving through the rarefied air just to the north of me...i could make out a small, bobbing red light sizzling through the thin air making a bee line for western New Mexico...i ain't gonna say nuthin' else...

3) a couple of other Christmas Miracles occurred on my starlit ski; the ski run groomers paved a perfect ribbon of groomed snow up my ascent line which NEVER happens and thus 'paved' the way for my Personal Record! also, on the dark descent (remember, Grandmother Moon had yet to appear over the summit ridge to light my way) i had to 'feel' where the 18' swatch of groomed snow was beneath my skis and it was like, "USE THE FORCE, LUKE!" everything was etheral and perfect and oh soooo fun!!!until...oooops! right at the bottom, i did not realize that i had skied onto the snowboard park and very nearly skied right into a rail!

IT'S A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE AND WHAT A BLESSING IT IS TO BE FIT and SPIRITUALLY AWAKE!
