In the pre-dawn cold of my Zendo, a familiar shiver of energy danced about my still bones. In short while, i would be making the 17 minute drive up to the Ski Basin, Ananda at my side, to attempt the capture of an obliquely recognized event known among mountain athletes as, "First Tracks."
Whomever pounces upon the earliest snow of the season and climbs to the summit of that mountain...
