"...the most rich example of ritual performativity ..."

Coach Ilg-

Do you have a half an hour or so free in the next few weeks so that I can interview you? I found that your yoga instruction is the most rich example of ritual performativity out of all the samples that I've collected, so I have some interesting questions for you. I'll treat you to coffee or some sort of beverage!

Human Birth = Birth of Stupidity

Senior Woman Travel Sick During a Flight on a Commercial Aeroplane

The birth of a man is the birth of his sorrow. The longer he lives, the more stupid he becomes, because his anxiety to avoid unavoidable death becomes more and more acute. What bitterness! He lives for what is always out of reach! His thirst for survival in the future makes him incapable of living in the present. - CHUANG TZU

Voice of an Angel

Some of your input regarding Ananda's spontaneous rendition of The Rose on 11-14-09 DL. Now, can we convince her to do a Tribal Album of chants and some cover songs!?!?!:

Beautiful voice.

Just beautiful.

Thanks for sharing and may Joy not beat your ass too silly for posting this.

what an incredible gift...

Ananda’s song is literally breathtaking.
I can’t describe it any other way.
Blown away.
You can count on one hand the number of other female singers that could pull that off a cappella – Tori Amos, Sia, Sarah McLaughlin – but she sings that on what, a tape recorder? Speechless.
I bow to her.

Bob Reilly

coach adds;
"i do too...every day!
she sang that song using one of my Injinji socks over the mic for 'enhanced acoustics'!"
